Brok and Sindri's Hidden Collector's Edition Treasure

It turns out that the cloth map included with the Collector's Edition and Stone Mason's Edition of God of War isn't just for looks.

Users on the IGN Boards discovered that the runes that adorned the map could be translated into a treasure map of sorts. The writing in the top corner reads:

"The brilliant blacksmiths Brok and Sindri traveled all around the lands of Midgard to create this great map for Faye a mysterious treasure was found at the space between them at the conclusion of their journey unfortunately for the brothers the treasure's location was instantly forgotten Brok retraced his steps and blamed Sindri for losing the treasure Sindri retraced his own steps but clearly knew it was Brok's fault they could not find it the treasure was never found and neither brother has spoken to the other either since."

There are also more runes present along the length of the World Serpent that circles the map - and they can be translated as such:

"To reveal the great treasure, stand inside the golden circle and look straight ahead to Tyr's Temple. Now look to the left brazier and back to Tyr's Temple. Look to the right brazier and back to the left brazier. Having just looked to the left brazier, now look back straight ahead to Tyr's Temple again. Now look down to the floor then look up to the right brazier and then back to the left brazier, and finally look back to Tyr's Temple to reveal the forgotten treasure."

Along the sides of the map are the steps that Brok and Sindri took. Using the compass directions you can trace their path along the map from square to square.

From the circle at the bottom left, Brok went: N N N N N E E E E E E N N N N E E E E E E E S S E S S S S S W W W W - ending his path to the left of Muspelheim Tower.

From the circle at the top right, Sindri went: W W S S W S S S S S E E S S S S S W W W W W W W W W W W W W N N E E S E E N N - ending his path to the right of Muspelheim Tower.

Users on Reddit deciphered the path and user Khanys found the golden circle on Muspelheim Tower (Which you can get to by crossing behind the Statue of Thor on Lookout Tower).

To obtain the treasure, stand on the circle on Muspelheim Tower and look (don't zoom in) at the following points while moving the camera quickly between points:

Tyr's Temple, Left Brazier, Tyr's Temple, Right Brazier, Left Brazier, Tyr's Temple, Floor, Right Brazier, Left Brazier, Tyr's Temple.

Doing this correctly, you'll hear gongs, and a Realm Tear will appear before you - allowing you to collect the Forbidden Grip of the Ages - an upgradable Legendary Axe Pommel that grants 8 Strength and 6 to all other Stats, and adds a concussive wave after a light attack combo!

Unlimited XP Exploit and Glitch

You can get an unlimited number of XP points by using the shield parry and loading checkpoint trick as shown in video:

This trick wil also work with other SKILL LABORS such as: LAST ONE STANDING, REAPER, AGAINST THE WALL, ETC. I have found that the easiest place to do this trick are the beach areas around LAKE OF THE NINE.

Start by getting your choice of LABOR SKILL you want to use like LAST ONE STANDING up to 98 or 99 done. Then goto a different beach location around the lake that has enemies on the beach and get the final task done to get your XP. Then reload your last checkpoint that will start on the beach when you first arrived and do the task and repeat repeat repeat. its good and that simple

Dont worry this wont make the game super easy. It will let you upgrade your RUNES FULLY to see how they play and not worry about spending extra cash on them
