@WBTV_News y’all really need to look into @DukeEnergy to compare outages and restoration time to other areas. Basic summer storms knocking out power grids every time for 12 hours is ridiculous and everyone here just accepts it as the norm.

@DukeEnergy an utterly useless organization, 4 days ago on the 7th I setup for the power to be turned on, then was promised a technician all day on the 11th, nobody ever showed. I'm honestly impressed with how poor the service has been.

@DukeEnergy Okay... You guys have been good in the past, and this is the first outage in 2020 after a dozen of them in 2019.However, the more widespread outages from last year were resolved quicker than this. Was not planning to go into the night still without power.

Our electric has been "out" since 9:17pm last night! It is now 2:09pm & we still have no elec! I got a text from elec. co. that claimed "my power is on," this was @ 3am! Problem, my elec. was NOT on & they left w/o checking! My power is out over 12 hours!@DukeEnergy sucks!🤬

@DukeEnergy Please Explain. If I go into a store to buy something I don’t get charged for the facility. It if I buy electric you charge a Facility Charge $14. 20% of my electric bill Not to mention a Storm Recover charge and Renewable Energy fee. Outrageous
