Most items ship from our warehouse in Milwaukee, WI, but if you are ordering a heavy or oversized item, we often have the manufacturer ship it directly to you to reduce shipping costs and save you money. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on shipment weight and destination. Eartheasy can ship to residential and commercial addresses in all 50 US States, but unfortunately oversized products do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. If you are in Alaska or Hawaii and have your heart set on an oversized item, give us a call and we’ll try our best to help you with a freight quote. Unfortunately we do not ship to U.S. Territories or U.S. military installations at this time, but we are working on making these options available soon.
Canada:
Please check product pages to see whether your product is eligible for shipping to Canada, as unfortunately there are some products we cannot ship across the border. Canadian orders ship weekly on Thursdays via Purolator International and shipping costs include duties and taxes. Unfortunately, expedited shipping to Canada is not available at this time.
International:
Unfortunately we cannot ship internationally, including Mexico or freight forwarders. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Processing Time & Shipping Charges:
The "Lead Time" on a product specifies the number of business days for your item to be prepared by our warehouse. The Lead Time does not include the date the order is placed. This also applies for all shipping methods, including express methods. If your item is shipping freight, you will receive a call to schedule the delivery with your driver. If your shopping cart has multiple items, a shipping charge may apply even if some items are listed as "Free Shipping", as charges apply to items rather than total cart quantities.

Farmstead Raised Garden Beds are based on a 17th century design. Handcrafted of Vermont White Cedar, these raised beds will last for many years and weather to a soft silver grey. Our easy-to-assemble raised garden beds are perfect for vegetables, herbs and flowers.
Strong and functional
Lumber is custom sawed to a thickness of 1¼ inches for greater strength and longer life. Cedar slot and peg raised garden beds cannot pull apart, as may happen with beds that are nailed or screwed together. This cedar is not sanded or treated, giving it an unfinished, rustic quality. The pegs are made of black locust wood, which is very rot resistant.
Stack them higher and save your back
Farmstead Raised Beds position the garden 8 inches above ground level. They can be stacked two, three, or four high creating a working surface that is 16, 24, or 32 inches high. For a raised bed that is 16" high, just purchase two beds and stack them.
Q: When stacking the Farmstead Raised Garden Beds, what holds them together?
A: The weight of the soil within the beds holds them in place on top of each other and it will keep them from shifting if on level ground. For additional support, it is easy to bracket the beds together with some inexpensive hardware or wood from a local store.

Watch our video below! It takes less than five minutes to assemble these raised beds. No tools are required. Simply slip the end of one board through the slot of the other and secure with provided wooden pegs.
Raised beds can be placed directly on sod, lawn, or even a weedy patch. Once the bed is filled with soil, any weeds underneath will soon form a composted base. For best results, you may want to dig down a few inches to clear any large rocks.
No chemical wood preservatives
Unlike pressure treated lumber or railroad ties, the untreated Vermont White Cedar used in these raised garden beds is naturally rot resistant.There are no harmful chemicals that could leach into your soil and plants. If you want to treat wood naturally, we recommend Eco Wood Treatment – a non-toxic mineral-based formula safe for vegetable gardens.
